Music has the power to bring people together and to bring out the best in people. At Team Joseph, we’ve always had the philosophy that a devastating diagnosis is a wake up call to live every single day to the fullest. We are committed to finding a treatment for Duchenne and having a lot of fun along the way. Music is a perfect fit for that!

Jammin’ for Joseph started as a concert fundraiser over nine years ago in Detroit. Local radio support, strong ticket sales and sponsorships have enabled this event to grow each year and to fund cutting edge Duchenne research and to bring us that much closer to a treatment for all kids battling Duchenne.

We are more excited than ever for this year’s Jammin’ for Joseph. Along with our friends at 99.5 WYCD, we’ve planned what we think will be our best concert yet! American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery (“Five More Minutes”) is headlining Jammin’ for Joseph with special guest Russell Dickerson (“Yours”)!

Jammin’ for Joseph is Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Fillmore Detroit. This public event is for ALL ages. Bring your friends, your family, your neighbors, and your grandma! All music lovers are welcome.

Ticket Options

Main floor, general admission, standing – these tickets are on the dance floor, closest to the stage – $25.  Balcony, general admission seats – $25. Order by emailing us at jamminforjoseph@gmail.com.

Main floor reserved seats and Mezzanine – $35. Order by emailing us at jamminforjoseph@gmail.com.

VIP Experience – $125. How would you like to meet the artists? Get a photo taken with the artists? Be close to the action on the main floor? Then VIP tickets are for you! The VIP Experience this year includes admission to a special reserved area on the main floor with room to move around and not have to stay in one assigned seat all night. This area will have high top tables for gathering and mingling, and some low top tables with seating. You’ll have early admission to the venue (5:30pm), enjoy a strolling dinner from some amazing restaurants, and have the chance to get your photo taken with the artists as they hang out in this area before the show. These tickets are $125, and are only available by emailing jamminforjoseph@gmail.com.

Summer Care 2017

Welcome to Summer Care!  We are pleased you have chosen to send your child to our program.

Notice: Summer Care packets have been mailed to returning families.

Summer Care is a state-licensed child care service operated by the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. It is available for incoming kindergartners through exiting fifth graders and offers full or half day childcare at four elementary locations.

Summer Care will be offered at:

  • Hickory Woods - is filled and will not be accepting any further registrations
  • Keith Elementary - is filled and will not be accepting any further registrations
  • Loon Lake Elementary-is filled and will not be accepting any further registrations
  • Oakley Park Elementary- is filled and will not be accepting any further registrations

Summer Care will be available from June 21 through August 18, 2017.  Hours are from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Registration Information:

Summer Care payments or scheduling cannot be done online this year.  All payments/scheduling will need to be made by mail or by coming in. Please find all registration information and documents in the list below under Summer Care Resources.

Invoices will be mailed to you:   

  • June 21 for July (payment due 6/30/17)
  • July 21 for August (payment due 7/28/17).

Schedule changes:

  • Schedule changes must be made by May 22 for June.
  • Schedule changes must be made by June 20 for July.
  • Schedule changes must be made by July 20 for August.
  • No credit will be given for canceled or "no-show" days after the cut off the prior month.  This includes field trips.

We ask that you fill out all three months as best as possible to reserve your spot.  You may delete days but may not be able to add days later if we are full.  

No registrations will be accepted via fax or email.  No exceptions!  Registrations with payment must be either dropped off or mailed to:
